Lastly\, we ask you order food and drink off the menu and refrain from carrying in. \nBring along a favorite song or two\, and maybe learn a new one. It’s a musical potluck with no cooking required. If you have a carol or something along those lines\, a few chord sheets would be helpful\, as those progressions are usually not that easy to figure out on the spot.  \n  \nA note on the future of Second Sunday Acoustic Jam.  \nFor nearly 10 years\, Scott Lowery has generously donated his time to organize this monthly gathering at the Acoustic Cafe. Now ready to take his music to new heights\, he is working on several new singles to be released this fall and winter\, with an EP to follow in the spring of 2019.

DESCRIPTION:Monthly Theme: Thanks for the Memories \nAll singers & acoustic instrumentalists welcome to this free event. Various genres including folk\, bluegrass\, acoustic rock\, blues\, country\, roots and hybrids usually represented. Small amps are OK if you need it to be heard—other electronics (like mp3 players with speakers) are discouraged. Chords and lyrics are helpful when we’re learning something new\, especially if there are more than 3 or 4 chords. A drawing will be held among participants every jam\, for a $10 gift certificate from the Cafe. Lastly\, we ask you order food and drink off the menu and refrain from carrying in. \nBring along a favorite song or two\, and maybe learn a new one.
