Drunk Girl Crush

Drunk Girl Crush is a solo musical act performing upbeat electronica and an eclectic mix of acoustic covers. DGC is the creation of Minnesota native and Winona State alum Matt Dahl, who currently lives in St. Paul.

Drunk Girl Crush’s original songs feature foot-tapping drums, infectious loops, and through-provoking lyrics. Sweeping pre-recorded harmonies at times give the music a dream-pop feel. Other originals are performed picked or strummed on a Gretsch “boxcar” resonator guitar. The set is rounded out with an eclectic mix of covers including songs by Willie Nelson, Vanessa Carlton, Radiohead, and Paul Simon.
