Monthly Theme: Apple Time

All singers & acoustic instrumentalists welcome to this free event. Various genres including folk, bluegrass, acoustic rock, blues, country, roots and hybrids usually represented. Small amps are OK if you need it to be heard—other electronics (like mp3 players with speakers) are discouraged. Chords and lyrics are helpful when we’re learning something new, especially if there are more than 3 or 4 chords. A drawing will be held among participants every jam, for a $10 gift certificate from the Cafe. Lastly, we ask you order food and drink off the menu and refrain from carrying in.

After nine rewarding years, Jam coordinator Scott Lowery is ready to pass his monthly duties off to someone else! Could that be you? He says it only takes an hour or two each month to crank out the publicity, along with occasionally touching base with the staff at the Cafe.
