Candace Griffin is a singer-songwriter, performing as a solo act after much success with the award-winning folk-rock band PANCAKE RIOT. Armed with a guitar and a lot of feelings, Candace has been inspired by other female rockers such as Michelle Branch, Sheryl Crow, Melissa Etheridge and others to share stories through music. Her first solo EP “A Lesson In Keeping Quiet”, released in 2013, contains six soul-bearing tracks. Her second EP “The Way Home” contains songs about finding a place to call home, finding home in a friend, and giving up places and people that bring you down. Her latest release “Misadventures” chronicles a journey of the heart following a big move to Tennessee, then back to her home of Janesville, WI. In a review by Curtis Bell, Candace’s music is described as “…intimate, yet powerful at the same time.” Others have acclaimed “she puts her listeners right in the moment.” Having performed in various places in southern Wisconsin, northern Illinois, and Tennessee over the past several years, Candace looks to keep performing as long as anyone wants to listen.
